The Shack

By William Young
Wow! What a book. True story? Unbelievable!
I want to hear from anyone who read this one.
This is a story of a man, angry at God for the abduction of his little girl. They found evidence of her murder in a shack, but no body. It seems to be the work of a serial killer.
But then, years later, Mack hears from "Papa". A nickname given to God by his wife. He asks him to meet him at the shack and a really deep story evolves from here.
This one is a deep thinker for sure. Anyone could read it, but I doubt a lot would make it through it as it is really one big conversation with God. A little boring if you are an adventure seeker.
This book addresses why bad things happen to innocent people. There are very thought provoking ideas.
I liked it. It was tough to get through and at times I thought this fella was full of it. But in the end, something amazing happens and make it worth the read.
