Genre: Fiction
Theme: Young Chinese boy becomes friends with Japanese girl during WWII in America. They are separated when she is forced to go to an internment camp. This story goes back and forth from 1986 to the 1940's.
Recommend to: Anyone. This is one of the cleanest books I have read in a spell.
What I think? Beautiful story. One of love, loss and family. Their young romance is so tender that it will leave you teary eyed. Please, someone read this book so I can chat it up with you!
